Social networking power!
BetterNetworker.com is arguably the #1 social networking website for home business owners. I’ve been a member of the site since it launched about a year ago, and I must say it is one of the most content-rich websites of any kind I have ever seen and I’ve seen quite a few over the last 10 years.
About two weeks ago the team behind BN called for community members’ voluntary contribution in a contest to create video tutorials for the massive content site… and in exchange for the time and effort invested to create the videos the winners of the contest get to be credited as the creators of the official BetterNetworker.com’s video training series… I naturally jumped on the opportunity, especially with the added incentive to be seen by my friends and associates on a cool website (hehe…).
What’s so cool about this “contest” is that THERE ARE NO LOSERS! How is that so? Let’s think about it for a second…
1) The participants: get to practice their screencasting skills even if their videos are not selected. And if their videos are selected… well, all the better! They will exert natural attraction by giving out valuable content to many in the industry and community, and who knows if the next super star alpha networker might be watching and itching to get on YOUR team.
2) BetterNetworker.com owners and adminstrators: save money and time by having the members create the videos to show existing and prospective members how to navigate and utilize the website, which should translate into more quality traffic at the very least.
3) Community members: get to learn to use this gigantic content-filled social network site more effectively and efficiently to grow personally and financially.
4) The Internet as a whole: gets more quality and useful content in a world now filled with cyber junk.
This is social networking done right in my humble opinion…
