Top 5 Myths About the Fourth of July!

So I came across > this article < from the History News Network of George Mason University, titled Top 5 Myths About The Fourth of July.

http://hnn.us/articles/132.html

The 5 myths are -

#1 Independence Was Declared on the Fourth of July?
#2 The Declaration of Independence was signed July 4?
#3 The Liberty Bell Rang in American Independence?
#4 Betsy Ross Sewed the First Flag?
#5 John Adams and Thomas Jefferson Died on the Fourth of July?

Since I didn’t go to school in the US as a youth and US history
wasn’t my favorite subject once I got here… I found the
information in this article to be very amusing.

It might surprise you, too.

And there are a few marketing lessons to be learned from this… but
I’ll leave it to you to discover them on your own :-)

Happy 4th (or 2nd)?

P.S. The Build A Magnetic Network training show resumes next Wednesday, and I’ll be heading up to Portland, Oregon that same day to visit my friend, the one and only, extremely talented and meticulous Mike Klingler. Check out his stuff here.
